Job Title: Division Head, Diagnostic and Molecular Pathology

About the Role:

The Eastern Ontario Regional Laboratory Association (EORLA) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Division Head, Diagnostic and Molecular Pathology. As a key member of the EORLA team, the successful candidate will provide leadership and direction to the Diagnostic and Molecular Pathology Division, ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services to patients across Eastern Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Diagnostic and Molecular Pathology Division
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff, clinicians, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of diagnostic services
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure efficient use of resources

Requirements:

  • MD degree and licensure in the province of Ontario
  • Fellowship in Diagnostic and Molecular Pathology with the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada
  • Proven leadership and management experience in a laboratory setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
