We are seeking a Private Equity Analyst Intern to join our dynamic team at the Vosyn AI Venture Lab. As part of this role, you will analyze potential private equity investment opportunities within the AI ecosystem, conduct market research, and contribute to the development of strategic investment plans for emerging AI startups.
About This Role:
- Conduct detailed analysis of potential private equity investments to identify lucrative opportunities.
- Perform market research to stay up-to-date with trends and developments in the private equity space.
- Collaborate with our team to develop and refine investment strategies, driving growth and innovation in the AI sector.
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, showcasing your analytical skills and communication expertise.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in private equity and AI technology, applying your knowledge to drive business success.
What You'll Do:
- Analyze potential private equity investments, assessing their feasibility and potential for growth.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the private equity space.
- Assist in developing and refining investment strategies, working closely with our team to drive business success.
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, demonstrating your analytical skills and communication expertise.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in private equity and AI technology, applying your knowledge to drive business growth.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Pursuing or completed a Master's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- Interest or coursework in private equity, financial analysis, and market research.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Passion for the intersection of finance and AI technology.
Salary: $32 per hour (paid in equity compensation).
Hiring Process:

- Candidates who pass the written assessment answer additional questions in video format to further evaluate their skills and cultural fit.
- Our team reviews the responses and invites suitable candidates to an orientation session.
- Successful candidates participate in an orientation session, learning about Vosyn, our projects, and what to expect during the internship.
Location: Hybrid work arrangement (2-4 days a week) at our Etobicoke Office.
Compensation: Hourly (paid in equity compensation equivalent to CAD $32/hour). With flexible hybrid work arrangement, offering a perfect blend of work-life balance and professional growth.
