About the Role

CPP Investments is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Analyst to join our team. As an Investment Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the Funds team in executing private equity fund commitments and direct equity co-investments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities
  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate investment prospects
  • Collaborate with senior team members to build relationships with private equity firms, limited partners, and other market participants
  • Participate in investment committee meetings to present new investment opportunities and discuss transactions
  • Utilize proprietary and third-party data sources to conduct market analysis and new investment research
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of related work experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, or venture capital
  • Excellent research, financial modeling, and analytical skills
  • Ability to solve complex problems and communicate solutions to senior team members
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • A willingness to travel and work in a dynamic team environment
