Organizational Development Consultant

CB Canada is seeking a skilled Organizational Development Consultant to join our team on a 9-month remote contract. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving transformation and change management initiatives.

Job Summary

The Organizational Development Consultant will serve as a member of a diverse team on a multi-year transformation, functioning as OCM Stakeholder Owner to assigned stakeholder groups. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate discussions with assigned stakeholders through super user and leader engagement networks to enable two-way communication about change impacts to their people, processes, and technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate discussions with assigned stakeholders to ensure effective communication and engagement.
  • Identify people risks and work with impacted leaders and other people support teams to mitigate.
  • Leverage an Agile change management approach to execute targeted communication and engagement plans.
  • Develop and deliver associated deliverables in partnership with system integrator and OCM resources.
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders on the effectiveness of change activities and recommend adjustments to programming as required.
  • Provide change leadership coaching to assigned stakeholder managers and super users.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience leading change management initiatives.
  • PROSCI, ACMP, or other change management certification is a strong asset.
  • Familiarity with working in a project environment and Agile methodology.
  • Experience with change management in a large organization.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, analysis, and business acumen skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Government or Crown Corporation experience is an asset.
  • Experience with transformation change.
  • Experience on large Agile IT projects.
  • Experience with Agile project/change management delivery.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • High emotional intelligence.
  • Strong relationship, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Facilitation and coaching skills.
