About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at Goodall Transport Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our HR function and driving business growth through strategic talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Talent Acquisition: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent, ensuring a diverse and skilled workforce that aligns with our business objectives.
  • Employee Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting employee well-being, and driving high levels of job satisfaction and retention.
  • Organizational Development: Collaborate with senior leaders to design and implement organizational change initiatives, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Policy Development and Implementation: Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures that align with our company values and regulatory requirements.
  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to employees and management on HR-related matters, ensuring a fair and equitable work environment.
  • Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management systems, ensuring employees are equipped to meet business objectives and achieve their full potential.
  • Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs that enhance employee skills and knowledge, driving business growth and competitiveness.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a Human Resources role, with a proven track record of success in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational development.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Word and other HR software applications.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Organized, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
