Job Summary:
This role involves training and supervising Package Handlers and Clerks on safety protocols, productivity, and job-related tasks. It also includes submitting timecards and holding teams accountable for attendance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing Good Working Relationships: Foster strong relationships with employees, management, and customers.
- Training and Development: Facilitate training sessions for new and current employees.
- Meeting Coordination: Conduct and participate in group meetings.
- Evaluation Coordination: Coordinate evaluations with management.
- Problem Solving: Determine the best solutions for package concerns.
- Supervision: Supervise daily activities of package handlers and clerks to ensure duties are accomplished safely and timely.
- UPS Code of Conduct: Understand and consistently demonstrate UPS's high ethical standards and code of conduct.
Requirements:
- Lifting Ability: Ability to lift 70 lbs/32 kgs.
- Availability: Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
- Problem Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with ability to multitask.
- Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Microsoft Office: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred.
- Management Experience: Management experience - Preferred.
Estimated Salary Range: $60,000-$80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
