Job Title: Financial Data Specialist

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum (based on experience)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Data Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Prepare cheques for payroll, calculate fixed assets and depreciation, and reconcile accounts.
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Post journal entries and prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports.
  • Prepare tax returns and trial balance of books.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in bookkeeping and financial record-keeping.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, QuickBooks, and other accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
