Job Summary

A&M Canadian Immigration Law Corporation is seeking a skilled Human Resources Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering staff consultation and grievance procedures, identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, and providing information or services to employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures, ensuring fair treatment of all employees;
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, including recruitment and selection processes;
  • Provide information or services to employees, such as employee assistance and counseling, to support their well-being and success;
  • Prepare and post notices and advertisements to attract top talent;
  • Collect and screen applicants, advising job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment;
  • Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews, negotiating settlements of appeals and disputes when necessary;
  • Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions, determining eligibility to entitlements and arranging staff training;
  • Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties;
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • Experience in human resources or a related field, with a strong understanding of employment law and regulations;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and stakeholders;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
Salary:

$65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
