About the Role

We are seeking a talented Business Marketing Associate to join our Chemical Technologies Regional Marketing team located in Calgary, AB.

This role will focus on understanding our customers and developing market insights to drive profitable growth for our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive market assessments, sales pyramid analysis, and margin health checks to identify opportunities for enhancing profitability and fostering growth.
  • Partner with multifunctional teams to develop strategies to address competitive threats and align on sales targets.
  • Support the execution of the regional strategy to deliver on key milestones and sales targets.
  • Employ a range of qualitative and quantitative methods to understand, articulate, and prioritize the needs and opportunities of the District and strategic customers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years' experience in oilfield.
  • 2+ years' experience with Project management skills.
  • Business and financial acumen.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple complex projects.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • SAP experience.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with Upstream production chemicals, Technical, RD&E, or sales roles is highly valued.

You should also have:

  • Demonstrated initiative and leadership skills, planning, critical thinking, collaborating cross-functionally, overseeing multiple project elements, and a proven track record of results.
  • Effective use of counselor selling approach (CSP) to obtain and leverage customer feedback to identify needs and evaluate technology fit.
  • Ability to navigate complex matrix organization, influence key stakeholders, and build strong relationships.
  • Business-to-business marketing experience, particularly with highly technical products and services in an industrial setting.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive base salary ranging from $80,000 to $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
