Job Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Wildlife Biologist. The successful candidate will have a strong background in wildlife management and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective wildlife management strategies to ensure the conservation of species and their habitats.
  • Lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Provide expert advice on wildlife identification, species inventory, and habitat assessment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement conservation plans that meet regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct fieldwork and data analysis to inform conservation decisions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and industry partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in wildlife conservation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as biology, ecology, or environmental science.
  • 5+ years of experience in wildlife conservation or a related field.
  • Professional registration or eligibility for registration (e.g. P.Ag., P.Biol.).
  • Strong knowledge of provincial regulatory systems related to wildlife and species inventories.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines within a team environment.
  • Ability to manage diverse projects and budgets.
