The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Wildlife Biologist to join our team at Trace Associates Inc. As a key member of our natural science practice, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across multiple market sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, regulators, suppliers, and peers in the industry.
  • Support and mentor junior and intermediate professionals to ensure their growth and development.
  • Provide expert advice on projects primarily within Western Canada, leveraging your knowledge of provincial and federal legislation and guidance.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of Trace's reputation as a leader in the field of environmental science.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure quality assurance and quality control within the natural sciences practice.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for innovation and efficiencies, driving business growth and improvement.

About You and Your Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in wildlife conservation and environmental science.
  • Status as a Professional Biologist, with a strong understanding of applicable provincial and federal legislation and guidance.
  • A proven track record of solving complex problems and driving results.

Base Salary

  • $81,000 – $155,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
