Job Title: Content Writer and Copywriter – B2B Marketing Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Content Writer and Copywriter to join our team at Measure Marketing Results Inc. as a B2B Marketing Specialist. As a key member of our content team, you will be responsible for developing high-quality, engaging content that resonates with B2B audiences in the tech and manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Creation: Research, write, and edit high-quality content that addresses the pain points and challenges of technical decision-makers (TDMs) and business decision-makers (BDMs) in the tech and manufacturing industries.
  2. Collaboration: Work closely with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) and client teams to develop content that aligns with the client's messaging and business objectives.
  3. SEO Optimization: Produce content that adheres to SEO best practices, optimizing titles, meta descriptions, and keyword usage for organic search performance.
  4. Content Formats: Write content across multiple formats, including blog posts, articles, case studies, white papers, ebooks, email campaigns, and social media posts.
  5. Brand Alignment: Ensure all content is aligned with the client's branding guidelines, voice, and tone.
  6. Storytelling: Incorporate storytelling techniques to make technical or complex topics relatable and engaging to the target audience.
  7. Content Planning: Create content briefs and follow up with feedback loops to ensure timely and high-quality content production.
  8. Industry Knowledge: Stay informed on industry trends, innovations, and news in B2B tech and manufacturing to craft timely and relevant content.
  9. Collaboration with Designers: Collaborate with designers to develop visually engaging content such as infographics, slide decks, and visual presentations.
  10. Content Calendar Management: Support the content team in developing and maintaining content calendars to ensure a consistent publishing schedule.
  11. Content Performance Analysis: Analyze content performance data and make adjustments to optimize for lead generation and conversion metrics.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  2. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in B2B content writing, ideally with a focus on tech and manufacturing.
  3. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of B2B buyer personas and buyer journeys in tech and manufacturing industries.
  4. Writing Skills: Proven experience in writing for technical audiences, including TDMs and BDMs.
  5. Research Skills: Excellent research skills and the ability to create original, well-researched content backed by credible sources.
  6. SEO Knowledge: Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience using keyword research tools like SEMrush or Ahrefs.
  7. Writing and Editing Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
  8. Project Management: Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
  9. Technical Skills: Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress and marketing automation tools like HubSpot is preferred.
  10. Attitude and Passion: A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a passion for creating high-impact content.
