About the Role

We are seeking a talented Content Writer to join our Marketing and Communications team at Toronto Film School (TFS) - creative industries. As a Content Writer, you will be responsible for developing creative marketing copy to captivate our audiences and elevate our brand experience with compelling content and persuasive stories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop targeted, compelling copy across the marketing funnel, including landing pages, email campaigns, social media, digital ads, blogs, and more.
  • Participate in content strategy development and collaborate with brand, creative, communication, and performance teams to support our Go-to-market strategies.
  • Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements and conduct research to gain a deep understanding of our audiences' needs and competitive differentiators.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in copywriting and marketing campaigns, ideally for post-secondary education or in a creative area such as film or television.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a proven ability to create targeted, compelling copy across the marketing funnel.
  • 2-3 writing samples of your best work as documents, links, or a portfolio you can submit for our review.
