Job Title: Copywriter and Content Writer – B2B

Job Summary: We seek a skilled Copywriter and Content Writer to develop persuasive, engaging, and well-researched content that resonates with B2B audiences in the tech and manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Research and write high-quality content that addresses the pain points and challenges of technical decision-makers (TDMs) and business decision-makers (BDMs) in the tech and manufacturing industries.
  2. Collaborate with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) and client teams to develop content that aligns with the client's messaging and business objectives.
  3. Produce content that adheres to SEO best practices, optimizing titles, meta descriptions, and keyword usage for organic search performance.
  4. Write content across multiple formats, including blog posts, articles, case studies, white papers, ebooks, email campaigns, and social media posts.
  5. Ensure all content is aligned with the client's branding guidelines, voice, and tone.
  6. Incorporate storytelling techniques to make technical or complex topics relatable and engaging to the target audience.
  7. Create content briefs and follow up with feedback loops to ensure timely and high-quality content production.
  8. Stay informed on industry trends, innovations, and news in B2B tech and manufacturing to craft timely and relevant content.
  9. Collaborate with designers to develop visually engaging content such as infographics, slide decks, and visual presentations.
  10. Support the content team in developing and maintaining content calendars to ensure a consistent publishing schedule.
  11. Analyze content performance data and make adjustments to optimize for lead generation and conversion metrics.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in B2B content writing, ideally with a focus on tech and manufacturing.
  3. Strong understanding of B2B buyer personas and buyer journeys in tech and manufacturing industries.
  4. Proven experience in writing for technical audiences, including TDMs and BDMs.
  5. Excellent research skills and the ability to create original, well-researched content backed by credible sources.
  6. Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience using keyword research tools like SEMrush or Ahrefs.
  7. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
  8. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
  9. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress and marketing automation tools like HubSpot is preferred.
  10. A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a passion for creating high-impact content.
