Quality Assurance Co-op Opportunity

Riverside Natural Foods is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Co-op to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Co-op, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Supplier Development Manager in implementing and maintaining supplier documentation management tools
  • Collaborate with the QA team to establish alignment on quality standards and procedures
  • Conduct risk assessments and root cause analyses with cross-functional teams
  • Identify areas for process improvements and work with the QA team to implement changes
  • Provide training and support to corporate and operational team staff on QA procedures and GMP best practices
Requirements:
  • Enrolled in a college or university science program in a related field
  • Good computer skills with intermediate level in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to a non-expert audience
  • Working knowledge of root cause analysis, statistical analysis, and Lean methodologies
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with a high level of initiative and adaptability
