Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding co-op experience in a dynamic and innovative company? S&C Electric Canada Ltd. is seeking a Quality Assurance Co-op to join our team

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying and measuring incoming parts to ensure they meet company standards and specifications. This will involve working closely with the QA Supervisor and team members to calibrate shop equipment and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities

  • Verify and measure incoming parts to ensure they meet company standards and specifications
  • Calibrate shop equipment and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
  • Work closely with the QA Supervisor and team members to ensure quality control standards are met
  • Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Read and interpret part and assembly drawings
  • Collaborate with assemblers and production personnel on quality inspections
  • Record and maintain inspection and calibration records
  • Collect and summarize quality reports monthly

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree/diploma in Mechanical/Electromechanical Engineering or Quality Assurance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player
  • Keen interest in design and manufacturing
  • Some manufacturing experience is an asset
