Grocery Store Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Grocery Team Lead at Freson Bros. in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

About the Role:

  1. As a Grocery Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the grocery department, ensuring that all products are properly stocked and faced.
  2. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized work area, including the parking lot and store cleaning.
  3. Additionally, you will assist in creating product displays and assist in training Team Members.
  4. You will also be responsible for handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Stock grocery products, ensuring they are properly faced and rotated.
  2. Clean the parking lot and assist with store cleaning.
  3. Assist in creating product displays and visual merchandising.
  4. Assist in training Team Members and providing coaching and feedback.
  5. Maintain a clean and sanitized work area, including the stockroom and sales floor.
  6. Handle customer service inquiries and provide a positive customer experience.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  2. 1-2 years of experience in a grocery store environment preferred.
  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  4. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  5. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
