About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at BC Children's Hospital. As an ICU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill or injured children and youth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patients' conditions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including vital signs, medication administration, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Current practicing registration as an RN with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • One year recent related experience in the designated clinical area.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to relate effectively to children and their families and others.
