Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse to join our team at BC Women's Hospital + Health Centre.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, providing high-quality care to critically ill newborns and their families.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to newborns in the NICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in neonatal care.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and quality improvement within the NICU.
- Graduation from an approved program of Nursing Education.
- Current practicing registration with the BC College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM).
- Current CPR and Newborn Resuscitation Certification.
- Neonatal Theory 1 from BCIT or Completion of BCIT Neonatal Nursing Course diploma (or equivalent program).
- Awareness of and commitment to learning and understanding the Truth & Reconciliation Commission's 94 Calls to Action (2015), In Plain Sight Report (2020), BC's Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (2019), and other related reports.
