Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse

Providence Health Care is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with colleagues, and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using established frameworks for nursing practice.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating patient and family learning needs.
- Provide direct nursing interventions for crisis and life-threatening situations.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in nursing orientation and share clinical knowledge with colleagues.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Two years' recent experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and/or recent completion of a Neonatal Nursing Specialty certificate.
- Current neonatal resuscitation certification.
