Job Opportunity: Auditor — Remote

We are seeking an experienced professional to support and enhance the operations of a global internal audit function within the insurance industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to strategic initiatives, quality assurance, and reporting efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and implement the Internal Audit Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP), ensuring quality and consistency across the department.
  2. Conduct independent quality assessments, including self-assessments, file reviews, and targeted reviews, providing balanced reporting to senior management.
  3. Identify and implement best practices by leveraging insights from external organizations, regulatory guidance, and peer collaborations.
  4. Design and deliver training programs and develop innovative methodologies for targeted reviews aligned with industry trends and organizational goals.
  5. Support key projects and strategic initiatives such as audit transformations, methodology updates, and the integration of digital tools.
  6. Assist in the preparation of critical reports for senior management, such as quarterly controls reports to the Audit Committee.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of audit experience, including quality assurance in the financial services sector.
  • Profound knowledge of internal audit practices, regulatory standards, and leading industry practices.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and challenge senior audit executives.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Benefits and Remuneration:

This is a 12-month contract with the potential for permanent employment. The salary range for this position is $82-$100 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. The work schedule is from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, with occasional evening availability for collaboration with international teams. You will enjoy the flexibility of remote work and have opportunities to lead and implement strategic initiatives.
