Duty Operations Manager

The Duty Operations Manager is a key role within our team at Marriott International, responsible for overseeing all property operations to ensure the highest levels of hospitality and service are provided.
This individual represents property management in resolving any guest or property-related situation, managing the flow of questions and directing guests within the lobby. They also serve as Guest Relations Manager, handling the tracking of service issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining strong working relationships with all departments to support property operations and goals
- Communicating variations to established norms to the appropriate department in a timely manner
- Sending MOD reports to all departments daily
- Improving service performance by striving for excellence and ensuring compliance with all policies, standards, and procedures
- Focusing on continuous improvement and emphasizing guest satisfaction during departmental meetings
Supporting Profitability Goals:
- Understanding and complying with loss prevention policies and procedures
- Reviewing staffing levels to meet operational needs and financial objectives
- Analyzing financial statements, sales data, and performance reports to identify areas for cost reduction and program improvement
Managing the Guest Experience:
- Intervening in guest/associate situations to maintain property integrity, achieve guest satisfaction, and preserve associate well-being
- Empowering associates to provide excellent customer service
- Providing immediate assistance to guests as requested
- Serving as a leader in displaying outstanding hospitality skills and setting a positive example for guest relations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related field
- OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related field
Salary Range:$46,000 - $51,000 annually
