Duty Manager

This exciting opportunity for a Duty Manager is available at Coast Hotels, where we strive to provide exceptional hospitality experiences. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of service and ensuring seamless property operations.
Main Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of property operations, including guest relations, staff supervision, and compliance with hotel policies and procedures. Key duties include:
- Maintaining strong working relationships with departments to support property goals and expediting problem resolution
- Communicating deviations from established norms promptly and sending daily MOD reports to relevant departments
- Ensuring guest satisfaction through continuous improvement initiatives and emphasizing this in departmental meetings
In addition to these core responsibilities, the ideal candidate will also:
- Understand and comply with loss prevention policies and review staffing levels to meet operational needs and financial objectives
- Analyze financial statements and performance data to identify areas for cost reduction and program improvement
- Provide excellent customer service, intervene in guest/associate situations as needed, and empower associates to do the same
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, along with 4 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or a related field
- Or, a 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major, accompanied by 2 years of experience in the aforementioned fields
- Self-motivation, demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills, ability to work under pressure, and advanced Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
This position requires flexibility, with a willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and some overnights. You will be an exemplary ambassador for Coast Hotels' core values and enjoy working in a culture of accountability.
Estimated salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum.
