We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Truck Operator to join our team at Cold Iron Truck Center Inc.

About the Job

This is a permanent position with an estimated salary of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.

The ideal candidate will have a valid AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, and a clean driving record. They will also possess excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements
  • AZ class license
