Heavy Duty Truck Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Duty Truck Operations Specialist to join our team at Sparkle Freight System Inc.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in truck operations, with experience in driving and maintaining heavy duty trucks. The successful applicant will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently across various locations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Overseeing the condition of the vehicle and inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
- Receiving and relaying information to central dispatch
- Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Judgement and reliability
This is a permanent position that requires working 40-50 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be available to work variable shifts, including evenings and weekends.
The salary for this role is estimated to be $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
