Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team at Canadian Blood Services in London, Ontario.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others by supporting blood collection and promoting a positive donor experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct registration and confidential screening to determine donor eligibility and build a positive donor experience.
  • Provide information, instruction, and advice on blood donation to donors.
  • Act as a team lead for collection events and provide coaching and consultation to donor centre staff.
  • Work in a diverse team environment assisting in the collection of whole blood and/or apheresis blood components which save lives daily.

Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program and current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Ontario.
  • Two years of nursing experience is considered an asset, as is certification in First Aid and CPR.
  • Previous experience as a preceptor or coach is also beneficial.

  • A competitive salary range estimated between $39.07 per hour and up to $70,000 per annum, based on full-time equivalent hours worked.
