About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Butcher - Retail or Wholesale Specialist to join our team at Barcelos Flame Grilled Chicken. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meat products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Prepare Meats

Clean meats to prepare them for processing or cutting, adhering to strict food safety and quality standards.

  • Cut and Trim Meats

Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat to meet customer demands and maintain product quality.

  • Wrap and Package Meats

Wrap and package prepared meats to ensure they are presented attractively and safely for customers.

  • Remove Bones and Weigh Meats

Remove bones from meat and weigh meats for sale to ensure accuracy and consistency.

  • Cut Poultry and Grind Meats

Cut poultry into parts and grind meats to meet customer requirements and maintain product quality.

  • Train and Develop Team Members

Train and develop team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

Requirements
  • Education

No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.

  • Experience

Will train the right candidate to excel in this position.

  • Work Language

English is the primary language spoken in this role.

  • Work Term

This is a permanent position.

  • Hours

35 to 40 hours per week.
