About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Butcher - Wholesale Specialist to join our team at Fraser Foods Ltd. As a key member of our retail meat department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meat products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting and Processing: Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting, and cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat to meet customer demands.
  • Meat Preparation: Wrap and package prepared meats, remove bones from meat, and weigh meats for sale.
  • Special Orders: Prepare special orders for customers, including cutting poultry into parts and grinding meats.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced retail environment, combining sitting, standing, and walking, with a focus on hand-eye coordination.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean and organized work environment, and work as part of a team to meet customer needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week.
