Job Title: Foreman - Field

Brandt Tractor Ltd is seeking a skilled Field Foreman to join our Cambridge Construction & Forestry team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily organization and dispatch of technicians, ensuring quality repair work for the Cambridge Construction & Forestry Service Department. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to advise and make recommendations to the Service Manager regarding technician skills and training needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and prioritize work performed to ensure quality control
  • Supervise and mentor service technicians to achieve high-quality results
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Advise and mentor technicians to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Commit to customer service and service excellence
  • Communicate effectively with customers, the service team, and other branch personnel
  • Establish and maintain an on-call field schedule
  • Manage costs and ensure profitability of the department
  • Perform other duties as required
Requirements:
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills required
  • Ability to work after-hours and be available on-call
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment
  • Certified Journeyman in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade
  • Experience in a service department setting
  • Familiarity with John Deere and competitive products
  • Forklift license
