Job Title: Foreman - Field

Brandt Tractor Ltd is seeking a skilled Field Foreman to join our Cambridge Construction & Forestry team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our service department, ensuring quality repair work, and providing guidance to technicians. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and prioritize work assignments to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Supervise and mentor service technicians to ensure quality work and adherence to company standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Advise and make recommendations to the Service Manager on technician skills and training needs
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and service excellence
  • Communicate effectively with customers, technicians, and other branch personnel
  • Establish and maintain an on-call field schedule
  • Manage costs and ensure profitability of the department
Requirements:
  • Previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment is an asset
  • Certified Journeyman in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade required
  • Experience in a service department setting required
  • Familiarity with John Deere and competitive products preferred
  • Forklift license preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and basic Microsoft Office skills required
