**Job Description:
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and execution of annual marketing plans for short and long-term brand building, including innovation, optimization, advertising, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with customer insights to analyze internal and market/consumer data, identify issues and opportunities, monitor trends, and mitigate risks for assigned brands.
- Maintain good knowledge of competitors and customers to ensure Sofina's branded business is competitively marketed.
- Recommend performance metrics and criteria to optimally build and drive brands' performance/value and create stronger consumer engagement.
- Establish marketing investment recommendations and ensure execution of programs and initiatives within these budgets.
- Evaluate business performance of assigned brands based on established criteria, identify/recommend areas of further improvements.
- Recommend and lead new branded projects and work closely with product development, innovation, sales, finance, operations, and legal teams in development and execution.
- Track, monitor, and measure success of marketing/campaign/promotional initiatives and opportunities with a strong emphasis on data analysis.
- Develop and execute advertising and promotional tactics to drive brand revenue, value, and build brand equity.
- Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all communication channels.
- Build organizational technical capabilities by providing day-to-day coaching and mentoring to brand report, cross-functional team, and external partners.
- Provide strategic direction, set plans, and goals for brand manager.
**Requirements:
- Completion of a degree/diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA considered an asset).
- 7-10+ years experience in brand management within Consumer Packaged Goods, ideally in Food.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical abilities, utilizing data to support business decisions.
- Knowledge of advertising, media planning, copy development, and packaging graphics development.
- Demonstrated high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A proven track record building relationships, establishing credibility, and gaining alignment with a broad range of internal and external partners.
