This role involves providing individualized support to students in grades 9-12, focusing on math and science subjects.

As an Academic Support Specialist, you will work directly with students, using our proprietary methodologies and philosophies to help them develop stronger learning skills.

You will be responsible for teaching up to three students at a time, following lesson plans and providing feedback to parents.

This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multitask and balance multiple responsibilities.

**Job Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Grades 9-12 math and science curriculum, particularly senior math and including, but not limited to, Advanced Functions, Algebra, Trigonometry and Calculus, and Vectors, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Salary: $17 - $18 per hour

Schedule: Evenings (Monday to Friday), Saturday availability
