About the Role:

Corby Spirit and Wine Ltd., a leading importer of wines and a significant player in the Canadian spirit market, seeks a dynamic Senior Brand Strategist to join their team. This exciting role will focus on the Tequila portfolio, with a strong emphasis on developing annual strategic plans to deliver continued growth and commercial success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing communication campaigns, promotions, and public events to drive brand equity and recruit new consumers
  • Ensuring media-to-shelf visibility and translating the communication campaign to the shopping floor and on-premise activations
  • Building a robust innovation pipeline through careful product introduction planning and working cross-functionally with brand owners, sales, finance, and logistics teams
  • Analyzing commercial and brand health data to complete monthly business performance reports and translate insights into action
  • Creating and owning the budget plan, ensuring resource allocation in line with the strategy and maximizing impact

About You:

We are looking for a seasoned marketing professional with a proven track record of delivering successful brand strategies and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in alcohol beverage marketing, experience developing and bringing new products to market, and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • University degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in alcohol beverage marketing, with a focus on brand management and development
  • Prior experience developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform business decisions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
