Job Description

As an Engineering Student, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

Project Coordination
  • Coordinating drawings and verifying site conditions.
  • Coordinating work specific scope / trades and participating in project meetings.
  • Conducting trade quote reviews, supervising sub-trade work, and issuing warranties.
Field Coordination
  • Performing quantity takeoffs, coordinating sub-trade work, and setting-up record keeping.
  • Verifying site conditions, coordinating with drawings, and supervising sub-trade work.
Scheduling
  • Updating project schedules, creating manual schedules, and obtaining scheduling information from sub-trades.
  • Creating and maintaining graphical scheduling using AutoCAD.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset. Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications, and drafting.
