Senior Tax Consultant

The Canadian Corporate Tax team is seeking experienced Senior Consultants to join their team at the KPMG Montreal office.
Key Responsibilities- Lead or participate in client engagements, working closely with Partners and senior team members on tax planning work.
- Plan and organize teams for tax return preparation, conducting and presenting tax research.
- Review the work of junior staff for accuracy and completeness.
- Provide ongoing support and mentoring for the professional development of staff.
- Become part of the tax engagement team, servicing the planning and compliance needs of clients.
- Minimum 2-5 years specializing in Tax in a public accounting firm.
- Professional Accounting Designation.
- Completed, or nearly completed, the CPA In-Depth Tax Course.
- Excellent people management skills.
- Highly motivated individual with a desire for growth.
- Excellent client service skills with the ability to understand clients' businesses.
- Dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service and professionalism.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Effectively manages conflicting demands and priorities.
