Overview

The Canadian Corporate Tax team is seeking experienced Senior Consultants to join their team at the KPMG Montreal office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead or participate in client engagements, working closely with Partners and senior team members on tax planning work.
  • Plan and organize teams for the preparation of tax returns and conduct and present tax research.
  • Review the work of junior staff for accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide ongoing support and mentoring for the professional development of staff.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience specializing in Tax in a public accounting firm.
  • Professional Accounting Designation.
  • Completed or nearly completed the CPA In-Depth Tax Course.
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Highly motivated individual with a desire for growth.
  • Excellent client service skills with the ability to understand clients' businesses.
  • Dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service and professionalism in the performance of duties.
  • Emphasis on quality and adding value in client offerings and services.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Effectively manages conflicting demands and priorities.
