Strategic Marketing and Business Development Advisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Marketing and Business Development Advisor to join our team at the Canadian Red Cross.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends and strategic partnerships that align with our goals.
  • Develop and write proposals for RFPs, ensuring alignment with our organization's strategic priorities.
  • Analyze and synthesize research data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for service expansion and enhancement.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, outlining research findings and proposing strategic initiatives.
  • Develop marketing collateral for new product releases and updates, including value propositions, program release documents, and materials for training partners.
  • Coordinate content creation and fact sheets for training partners, and oversee mass newsletters to ensure creative and copy alignment for marketing communications to stakeholders.
  • Prepare surveys for release using Survey Monkey, and plan and oversee campaign scheduling, aligning advertising and promotions with seasonal or market trends.
  • Coordinate unified campaign execution, working with digital marketing, communications, and email marketing teams to ensure a holistic approach that maximizes reach and impact across all channels.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field from a recognized institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum 5-6 years in program management or business development, with demonstrated abilities in market research, competitor analysis, and managing a diverse project portfolio.
