At HCLTech, we are seeking a highly skilled Field Support Engineer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and effective support to internal users and conference rooms, resolving IT issues with desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and desk phones.
- Resolve incoming trouble tickets through various communication channels, including email, chat, web portal, and phone calls.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance of meeting rooms and troubleshoot technical concerns of users in these areas.
- Resolve technical issues with operating systems, hardware, and basic networking, including Windows 11, laptops, and desktops.
- Support hardware, laptop provisioning, imaging, and desk setups, as well as mobile-device setup and support.
- Deploy and configure desktops and laptops, manage inventory, and report on hardware equipment and peripherals.
- Transport equipment between buildings for user deployment and vending machines.
Requirements:
- Excellent technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of IT service management principles and practices.
