Job Title: Field Support Engineer

At HCLTech, we are seeking a highly skilled Field Support Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective support to internal users and conference rooms, resolving IT issues with desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and desk phones.
  • Resolve incoming trouble tickets through various communication channels, including email, chat, web portal, and phone calls.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance of meeting rooms and troubleshoot technical concerns of users in these areas.
  • Resolve technical issues with operating systems, hardware, and basic networking, including Windows 11, laptops, and desktops.
  • Support hardware, laptop provisioning, imaging, and desk setups, as well as mobile-device setup and support.
  • Deploy and configure desktops and laptops, manage inventory, and report on hardware equipment and peripherals.
  • Transport equipment between buildings for user deployment and vending machines.

Requirements:

  • Excellent technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of IT service management principles and practices.
