Director of Programs and Services

Lumacare is a leading provider of community-based programs and services for older adults and seniors in northwest Toronto. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Programs and Services to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the development and implementation of community programs and services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Lead a team of program managers and staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective program delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including community partners, funders, and government agencies, to identify and address community needs.
  • Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and accountability.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement and expansion.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a health-related field or equivalent experience in non-profit administration.
  • At least 3 years of experience in program management, with a proven track record of success in leading teams and developing community programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and customer service.
