Director of Client Services Program Development

Position Overview
Lumenus Community Services is seeking an experienced and motivated professional to fill the role of Director, Client Services. This position is responsible for overseeing a cluster of programs that offer a wide range of high-quality community-based services, including individual, family, and group supports across the developmental spectrum.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Direction and Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic direction and goals for client services programs, ensuring alignment with the agency's overall strategic direction and operating principles.
- Financial Management: Assume accountability for sound financial management and appropriate financial controls, participating in the preparation of annual budgets and monitoring program finances.
- Communication: Utilize effective communication strategies to facilitate the smooth operation of programs, communicating the mission, vision, values, and operating principles to employees and stakeholders.
- Operations and Programs: Supervise managers in client services, providing mentorship and coaching, and ensuring coordinated services for clients accessing multiple Lumenus programs.
Qualifications and Experience
- Master of Social Work or equivalent education and experience with 10 years or more directly related leadership experience.
- Membership in the appropriate professional regulated college to provide oversight for the act of psychotherapy.
- Experience in research and outcomes management evaluation, as well as minimum five years of clinical experience in counseling or related clinical expertise.
Skills and Knowledge
- Expertise in strengths-based, systemically oriented, anti-oppressive, culturally responsive, and relationally based approaches.
- Well-versed in the application of knowledge and practice in client and family-centered work, attachment, trauma, neurobiology, family systems, and experience in single-session, cognitive-behavioral, narrative, and behavioral treatments.
Additional Requirements
- Flexible hours, evening work, and travel may be required.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are considered assets.
- Attendance at board and management meetings may occur off-site and outside regular hours.
