About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Law Clerk to join our team at RSM LAW PROFESSIONAL CORPORATION. As a Law Clerk, you will play a critical role in supporting our lawyers in various aspects of estate administration, litigation, and corporate law.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estate Administration: Assist in the administration of estates, including the distribution of assets, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Litigation Support: Provide support to lawyers in preparing for trials, including assembling documentary evidence, drafting legal documents, and conducting research.
  • Corporate Law: Assist in the preparation of corporate documents, including contracts, wills, and other legal documents.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks, such as maintaining filing systems, coordinating with clients and witnesses, and preparing trial briefs.
  • Communication: Develop strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, witnesses, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
