Job Summary
Desjardins is seeking a skilled Claims Specialist to join our team. As a Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for investigating home and auto insurance claims, working in partnership with other claims employees, and maintaining accurate records in our claims management system.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and process insurance claims in a timely and efficient manner
- Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates on claim status
- Collaborate with other claims employees to resolve complex claims
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our claims management system
Requirements
- Hold a licence from the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF)
- Have or be in the process of obtaining an ACS in property and casualty insurance or a DCS in financial services and insurance

- A competitive hourly wage starting at $28.14/hr
- The possibility of a $2,000 bilingualism bonus (wage adjusted based on insurance experience)
