Job Overview

LMI Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Assembly Specialist to join our team. As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for performing product assembly, testing, alignment, calibration, and verification.

This role involves working under the guidance of the Production Lead and adhering to detailed instructions, drawings, specifications, and bills of material to accurately process components into finished products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepares components, assembles, aligns, calibrates, verifies, and tests products in accordance with manufacturing documentation.
  • Adequately processes components into finished products by strictly adhering to quality standards and safety procedures.
  • Ensures proper handling of products and components while adhering to ESD policy.
  • Takes part in continual training and development to enhance technical skills.
  • Maintains accurate records of labor and parts on electronic travelers.
  • Posts assembly and material transactions in NetSuite database.
  • Promptly identifies and reports non-conforming parts and products.
  • Escalates any issues or concerns immediately to Production Leads and/or Production Manager.
  • Main responsibilities include maintaining a clean and tidy work area and adhering to LMI Employee Policy Manual.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • Previous experience in electro-mechanical assembly and testing is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with computers.
  • Soldering experience to IPC 610 class 2 standards is an asset.
  • Cleanroom experience is also beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
  • A proven track record of delivering quality results.

Estimated Salary Range: $35,800 - $48,000 per year. Our typical hiring range may vary based on qualifications and market conditions.
