Manufacturing Technologist

Job Summary:
As a Manufacturing Technologist at LMI Technologies, you will be responsible for performing product assembly, testing, alignment, calibration, and verification, as well as repair activities to ensure conformity of products to determined requirements.
This role involves working under the guidance of the Production Lead and includes all processes from initial inventory handling through to finalization and packaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare components, assemble, align, calibrate, verify, and test product in accordance with manufacturing documentation to ensure product quality.
- Adhere to detailed instructions, drawings, specifications, and bills of material to accurately process components into finished products.
- Perform work in accordance with quality standards and safety procedures.
- Manage time to ensure product is built and repaired to satisfy standard times.
- Accurately document status, labour, and parts on the electronic traveller.
- Post assembly and material transactions in NetSuite database.
- Promptly segregate and report non-conforming parts and products.
- Escalate all issues or concerns immediately to the Production Leads and/or Production Manager.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma.
- Experience working in an electro-mechanical assembly/test is highly preferred.
- Proficient with computers.
- Soldering experience to IPC 610 class 2 standards is an asset.
- Cleanroom experience is an asset.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Proven track record of quality and performance.
Salary Range: $35,800 - $43,000 - $48,000
Expected Salary: Our typical hiring range will be +/- 10% of the midpoint listed above, influenced by qualifications and market conditions for the role.
