Manufacturing Assembly Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Assembly Specialist to join our production team at LMI Technologies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing product assembly, testing, alignment, calibration, and verification, as well as repair activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare components, assemble, align, calibrate, verify, and test products in accordance with manufacturing documentation to ensure quality requirements.
- Adhere to detailed instructions, drawings, specifications, and bills of material to accurately process components into finished products.
- Perform work in accordance with quality standards and safety procedures.
- Participate in continual training and development.
- Manage time to ensure product is built and repaired to satisfy standard times.
- Accurately document status, labour, and parts on the electronic traveller.
- Post assembly and material transactions in NetSuite database.
- Promptly segregate and report non-conforming parts and products.
- Escalate all issues or concerns immediately to Production Leads and/or Production Manager.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma.
- Experience working in an electro-mechanical assembly/test is highly preferred.
- Proficient with computers.
- Soldering experience to IPC 610 class 2 standards is an asset.
- Cleanroom experience is an asset.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
