As a Receptionist at Broadstreet Properties Ltd., you'll be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:
- Responding to telephone, email, and in-person inquiries from internal and external customers
- Preparing and packaging items for shipping on a daily basis
- Ordering and maintaining office and boardroom supplies
- Arranging and booking meetings in boardrooms and off-site locations
- Presenting a positive and professional image of the organization to all visitors and interactions
- Observing and reporting any security, maintenance, or cleanliness issues to the Office Manager
- Maintaining the mailroom, lobby, and front reception areas with a high attention to detail
- Organizing and distributing mail
- Supporting daily lunch program operations
What we're looking for in a candidate:
- Post-secondary education in office administration or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of direct work experience in a receptionist capacity
- Ability to adjust and be flexible to meet changing work needs and demands
- Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other software
- Able to maintain filing systems and basic databases
- Superior telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
