Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Horton's. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service counter attendants and food preparers to ensure exceptional customer service and high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Customer Service and Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and addressing customer complaints promptly.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports to ensure efficient operations and resource allocation.
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff, customers, and suppliers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
    • Communicate clearly and concisely with staff, customers, and suppliers to resolve issues and address concerns.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Working Conditions

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced food service environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The position requires standing for extended periods and attention to detail.
