Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Horton's. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance staff performance and productivity.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Establish and maintain efficient work schedules to meet business demands.
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure adequate inventory levels.
    • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and other operational expenses.
  • Customer Service and Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Administrative and Reporting
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and labor costs.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Develop and implement effective administrative systems to support business operations.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to train and develop staff to meet business needs.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-40 hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and meeting business objectives.
