Montana's Restaurant is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef - Culinary Lead to join our team

About the Role:

  • We are looking for a results-driven and detail-oriented individual with 7-12 months of experience in cooking, able to work 35-44 hours per week.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as inspecting kitchens and food service areas.
  • This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cook and prepare complete meals or individual dishes and foods according to menu requirements and quality standards.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.

Requirements:

  • 7-12 months of experience in cooking, preferably in a restaurant setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; secondary (high) school graduation certificate an asset.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
