About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Diagnostic Technologist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. As a key member of our vascular laboratory, you will be responsible for providing a variety of vascular testing modalities, including shift work and on-call services.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a graduate degree in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound or equivalent, with a focus on vascular specialty. You will also need to be registered with NSCMIRTP and hold current CPR certification. Recent clinical experience in a non-invasive vascular lab is preferred, as is the ability to work with minimum supervision and maintain good relationships with patients, families, and co-workers.

Hours
  • This is a long assignment full-time position, with 75 hours biweekly.
  • The assignment is approximately 15 months long.
  • Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm, with the possibility of flexible scheduling as operationally required.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $34.40-$41.76, with the possibility of a Market Adjustment of approximately $239.25 biweekly. Successful candidates may also be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
